Since my last eireular, there has been a good demand for Vessels from Russia, and we have fixed several at 5s. from Cronstadt, and 7s. St. Petersburg Town; but these rates have deelined, and now we gannot offer more than quoted in tbis cireular; and con aceount of the rapid decline in our Corn Market (Wheat having fallen 10s. per quarter in one week) the demand for Vessels is anything but great, but still good first-elass Vessels can be placed. Freights in general are declining; but there appears a probability of Vessels being wanted from London, with Corn, to Franee and Portugal. For Bordeaux we have ehartered at 3s. to 33. Gd. for Wheat, and Bayonne at 4s.; Lisbon at 4s, 9d. per quarter; and if our market continue to go down, the export will inerease and employ vill be gifven to several small Vessels of from 500 to 1000 quarters.
